Eren Keskin is a Kurdish-born lawyer and a human rights activist in Turkey who co-founded the project “Legal Aid For Women Who Were Raped Or Otherwise Sexually Abused by National Security Forces.” For exposing and speaking out against the abuses that are happening to women in Turkish prisons, she has been repeatedly threatened, assaulted, harrassed and arrested by Turkish authorities. In 2004, Eren Keskin received the prestigous Aachen Peace Award "for her courageous efforts and activities for human rights."
