Coretta Scott King was the wife of civil rights leader, Martin Luther King, Jr. After her husband's assasination she became a noted noted civil rights leader in her own right, as well as an author, singer and the founder of the King Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Coretta Scott King received the Congressional Gold Medal and the Gandhi Peace Prize.
