Robert Alan Silverstein is a utopian author, artist, song writer, filmmaker, webmaster and social change activist. Since he created The People For Peace Project in 1995, hundreds of thousands of activists and students have been inspired by his educational resources that integrate his illustrations of more than 1000 Better World Heroes for a more peaceful, just and sustainable world. He is also the founder of The EMILY Fund, which he created in 2009 after the murder of his daughter, Emily, to continue her legacy of youth service and activism and to raise awareness about dating violence. The published author of more than 40 books, Robert has served as an NGO Representative to the United Nations, the Managing Director of a small NY-based philanthropic grant-making foundation, and the coordinator of several global campaigns for a better world.
